Clothing shops

Garment billing software with barcode billing that works offline.

VyaparNext POS Lite is for an Indian clothing shop that bills from a garment tag and still needs to sell when the internet drops. Each size and colour can have its own barcode. The sale and the stock change stay on the device until you are back online.

Scan the tag, bill that size and colour

Staff scan with a wireless barcode scanner or the device camera. The bill takes the price and the variant on that tag, and inventory for that size and colour goes down. You can print barcodes for the rack and a thermal receipt at the counter. Most Bluetooth and USB ESC/POS printers already in the shop work with VyaparNext.

The counter keeps selling offline

POS Lite stores billing and inventory on the device. A dropped line, a power cut that takes the router with it, or a busy Saturday on a weak connection does not stop the current bill. The receipt still prints from that device.

What comes back when you reconnect

One counter can stay on POS Lite alone: the bills are already on that machine. When a second phone, tablet, or computer should see the same shop, Cloud Sync shares bills, purchases, and product edits about every hour and rebuilds stock from them. Seven daily snapshots (India time) are kept. Commerce is the plan when an online order should draw from the same size and colour the cashier just sold.

Details are on Cloud Sync, products, and pricing.

How the setups differ

Phone billing app

Bills and stock live on that phone. A second counter keeps its own copy until someone merges the two. A website is usually a separate catalogue.

Desktop POS

The shop computer holds the install. Another counter needs its own setup. Whether a bill can finish during an outage depends on that program.

VyaparNext POS Lite

Free on the computer or Android device you already use. Scan a tag or use the camera, including when the line is down. Cloud Sync (₹299/month, or included with Connected POS and Commerce) shares the shop across devices. Commerce is the step when the website should use the same stock.

Questions from clothing shops

Does billing work when the internet drops?

Yes. POS Lite keeps the bill and the stock change on that device, and the cashier can still print a thermal receipt. The counter does not wait for Wi-Fi. When the connection returns, turn on Cloud Sync if other devices should pick up those bills. Sync runs about every hour and recalculates stock from sales and purchases.

Can staff scan a garment tag?

Yes. A wireless barcode scanner or the device camera reads the tag. The item, price, and the size or colour on that barcode go on the bill, and stock for that variant goes down. If a tag will not scan, staff can search for the product and add it.

What syncs when the connection returns?

With Cloud Sync on, bills, purchases, and product edits from each device meet in the cloud about every hour. Stock is recalculated from those sales and purchases. If the same product was edited on two devices, the conflict is flagged so you choose what to keep. A single counter without Cloud Sync already has its bills saved locally; sync is what a second device or a website needs.
