POS Lite is free offline billing software. The bill and the stock change stay on that device. Cloud Sync is what ties the counters together after the connection returns.
Without Cloud Sync
You can use POS Lite on one counter for free. Turn sync off, or skip the subscription, and nothing is wrong with billing on that machine — but data does not travel between devices.
- Each phone, tablet, or computer keeps its own copy of sales, purchases, and stock.
- A bill on the counter does not appear on the manager’s phone until you move data manually — there is no shared view.
- A new device starts empty unless you restore from that one machine.
- If one device fails, you only have what was saved on that device.
With Cloud Sync (₹299/month)
Subscribe in your VyaparNext account, then turn on Cloud Sync in the POS app on each device. Sync runs about every hour while you are online.
- Counters and devices pick up each other’s bills, purchases, and product edits about every hour.
- Sign in on a new device and your shop data loads from the cloud automatically.
- Stock is recalculated from sales and purchases across devices — not copied blindly.
- Seven daily snapshots (India time) help you recover or roll back to an older day when you need to.
- Conflicts (the same product edited on two devices) are flagged so you choose what to keep.
